Our practice has cared for people living with musculoskeletal and spinal pain in Central Queens since 2001. We offer conservative options, such as physical therapy and acupuncture, alongside interventional injections and microsurgical procedures for pain of spinal or joint origin — and every plan we build begins with an accurate diagnosis.
Our practice opened in 2001, only weeks after the September 11 attacks. It was founded by a musculoskeletal rehabilitation physician who saw an unmet need in his own community: an aging, largely immigrant population in Central Queens with few places to turn for care of spine and joint pain.
Over the years the practice grew, both in size and in the number of patients it served, and became a trusted, well-known local provider of musculoskeletal and spinal pain care. In 2010, his son, Dr. Dmitriy Fuzaylov, joined the practice after graduating from his medical training.
Dr. Fuzaylov brought his Ivy League medical education and training back to the same neighborhood, and used it to widen the scope of what the practice could offer: a range of injection-based and microsurgical procedures that raised the level of spine and joint care available here. Patients who once had to be sent elsewhere for interventional treatment could now receive it from the same physician who diagnosed them.
Today, the practice offers conservative and interventional care under one roof, in the same community it was built to serve.

Dr. Fuzaylov is a physiatrist, a medical doctor specializing in physical medicine and rehabilitation, with subspecialty certification in pain medicine. He has practiced here since 2010 and personally diagnoses and treats the spine and joint conditions we see.
